Cellar Door
Use an exterior-grade door with weather stripping on all sides and a sealed threshold or bottom sweep. Air leakage around the cellar door is a common cause of excessive system operation.
Glass-Enclosed Cellars
Glass has a lower insulation value than a conventional insulated wall. Glass-intensive cellars require a detailed heat-load calculation and may require more cooling capacity than an insulated room of similar volume.
Evaporator Insulation
The supplied exterior insulation blanket must be installed before the evaporator is mounted.
