Choose the CX8800 if:
Your cellar is up to 2,000 cubic feet
The room is fully insulated and vapor sealed
You have proper rear ventilation space
You can provide a dedicated 20-amp 115V circuit
Noise levels around 68 dBA are acceptable
Do NOT choose the CX8800 if:
The cellar is smaller and risks oversizing
The unit must vent into a sealed closet
The space exceeds 85°F on the condenser side
Ultra-quiet operation is required (consider split system)
