The unit, installed on a shelf, exactly as shown in the installation instructions, runs very loud, with lots of resonance. The front grille resonates against the chassis (the screws are not tight and appear stripped). That might be fixable relatively easily by insulating the grille. Something on the insider also resonates and rattles but that can't be fixed without removing the rivets that hold the whole thing together, which voids the warranty. This is our second WKL 6000, and third Bteezaire unit. The first two were quieter, but the last WKL 6000 failed after 12 years with lots of noise.
BreezeAire is a good product that works very well for keeping our wines cool in credenza. After ordering online, it was delivered promptly as advertised and it’s simply plug and play - nothing else to get it going. There are couple of things BreezeAire could do to improve customer experience. Most important would be listing/providing current BreezeAire Service Providers in or near big cities since not all AirConditioner repair service personal are familiar with these units. Advise customers service frequency as well to help the product last longer, in last 14 years I’ve had to replace my unit twice and I blame it on lack of service availability!
I’m not sure I would call it a quiet product - for a small air conditioner it is a little loud. Ease of ordering, simple Plug & Play and keeping wines cool efficiently are big strengths.
