The WhisperKool Ducted Platinum Split 4000 OMEGA 110V is a fully ducted split wine cellar cooling system designed for properly constructed wine cellars up to 1,000 cubic feet. It separates the evaporator and condenser into two remote components, allowing for silent operation inside the cellar and discreet mechanical placement.

This system is engineered for residential wine cellars that are fully insulated, vapor sealed, and require professional HVAC installation.

Who This System Is For

This cooling unit is appropriate if:

  • Your cellar does not exceed 1,000 cubic feet
  • Walls are insulated to R-19 minimum
  • Ceiling is insulated to R-30 recommended
  • A 6-mil vapor barrier is installed on the warm side of insulation
  • The room is sealed airtight
  • You can run insulated ductwork

When This System Is NOT Appropriate

Do NOT select this unit if:

How the Ducted Split System Works

Evaporator (Fan Coil Unit)

Installed in or near the cellar and connected via insulated ducting. Circulates cooled air while drawing warm return air back for conditioning.

Condenser (Air-Cooled Unit)

Installed remotely (mechanical room, ventilated attic, or utility area). Removes heat from the refrigerant and exhausts it outside the cellar environment.

Because both components are remotely located and ducted, no visible cooling equipment is installed inside the cellar.
