The WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount Twin 12000 (220V High-Efficiency) is a ductless split wine cellar cooling system engineered for large residential and light commercial wine cellars up to approximately 3,500 cubic feet.*

Designed to mount flush between ceiling joists, the dual-evaporator configuration provides strong, even airflow while keeping the cooling equipment discreetly integrated into the cellar ceiling. The remote condenser relocates heat and noise outside the wine room, creating a stable, quiet environment ideal for long-term wine storage.

This model is best suited for collectors seeking high-capacity performance without visible wall-mounted equipment or ductwork.

Installation Requirements

• Installation by a qualified HVAC-R technician is required
• Proper vapor barrier (minimum 6 mil recommended)
• Insulation typically R-19 (walls) / R-30 (ceiling)
• Dedicated 220V electrical circuit
• Maximum line set length: 100 feet

Improper insulation, lack of vapor barrier, or incorrect sizing may lead to performance issues or premature failure.

When to Choose the Twin 12000 Instead of the Twin 9000

Choose the Twin 12000 if:

• Your cellar exceeds 3,000 cubic feet
• You have glass doors or partial glass walls
• You live in high-heat climates (AZ, NV, TX, FL)
• You want additional cooling margin to reduce compressor strain

For smaller cellars under 3,000 cu. ft., the Twin 9000 may be sufficient.

Optional 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit

The 24V conversion kit allows integration with third-party smart thermostats.
