WhisperKOOL Platinum Mini Split Ductless Cooling System For Wine Cellars Up to 500 Cubic Feet

The WhisperKOOL Platinum Mini Split Ductless Cooling System is engineered for properly insulated and sealed wine cellars up to 500 cubic feet. It separates the evaporator (installed inside the cellar) from the condenser (installed remotely), reducing heat and noise within the wine space.

This system is ideal for small residential wine rooms and modern glass wine walls where quiet performance and flexible condenser placement are required.

Available in WhisperKOOL Platinum Mini Split Ductless Cooling System 220V & WhisperKOOL Platinum Mini Split 110V for 500 cu.ft. How the Ductless Split System Works

This system consists of two separate components:

Evaporator (Fan Coil Unit)
Installed inside the wine cellar.

Condenser (Air-Cooled Unit)
Installed remotely — up to 100 line feet away — in a utility room, attic, mechanical space, or outdoors (with protective housing).

Because the condenser is separated from the cellar:

• Heat is expelled outside the wine room
• Noise levels inside the cellar are reduced
• Installation flexibility increases

The ductless version includes a visible grille inside the cellar. If concealed airflow is required, a ducted split system may be more appropriate.

Installation & Construction Requirements

This is a professional-grade refrigeration system and must be installed by a qualified HVAC-R technician.

Required Conditions

• Fully insulated cellar (walls, ceiling, door)
• Proper vapor barrier on warm side of insulation
• Dedicated 115V, 15-amp circuits
• Properly sized refrigerant line set
• Condensate drainage planning

Failure to meet these requirements may result in:

• Inability to maintain 55°F
• Continuous system runtime
• Condensation damage
• Premature compressor wear
• Voided warranty

This unit will not compensate for poor cellar construction.
