The WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount 8000 is designed for wine collectors who want:
A low-visibility cooling system
A flush ceiling-mounted evaporator inside the cellar
A remotely located condenser outside the cellar
Quiet operation without ductwork
Reliable performance in properly constructed wine rooms
It is ideal for:
Cellars up to 2,000 cubic feet
Residential wine rooms
Remodel projects where wall space is limited
Applications requiring condenser placement up to 100 feet away
When This System Is NOT Appropriate
This system may not perform as expected if:
The cellar lacks a vapor barrier
Insulation is below recommended R-values
There are large glass walls or doors
The space is not fully sealed
Dedicated electrical circuits are unavailable
The condenser is exposed to extreme weather without protection
Improper installation or inadequate insulation can cause failure to reach temperature and may void the warranty.
System Overview
The Ceiling Mount 8000 uses a split system design:
The evaporator installs flush between ceiling joists inside the cellar.
The condenser installs remotely (indoors or outdoors with protection).
Refrigerant line set connects the two components.
No ducting is required.
This configuration keeps the cooling system visually discreet while maintaining proper airflow at the ceiling level, where warm air naturally accumulates.
